Christopher Lewis

Often included among the best trial lawyers in Texas, Attorney Chris Lewis provides clients with aggressive, effective, and seasoned representation. Chris gets great results, and he gets them often. He has earned the respect of judges, clients, and fellow lawyers because of his legal skills and ethics.

One of the reasons Chris achieves such good results for his clients is his incredible amount of experience. Chris has tried nearly 300 jury trial in his career and is widely considered a “top-flight trial lawyer” due to his skill, integrity, and results.

Chris has always had a penchant for high achievement. In college, Chris excelled in the classroom where he graduated magna cum laude with a double major in government and psychology. He was the recipient of the President’s Award for Academic Excellence, the Evangel University Academic Achievement Award, and the Social Science Department Scholarship. He was also a member of the Social Science Honor Society and the Behavioral Science Honor Society. Chris also served as the President of his Junior Class and the President of his Senior Class while at Evangel. During his senior year of college, Chris served as an intern for Congressman Chet Edwards in Washington, D.C. Chris’ chosen course of study helped build a foundation for his understanding of human nature and its place within our legal system.

Chris also excelled on the gridiron, where he was a four-year starter in football – including starting as a true freshman. He was an All-Conference selection during his senior year and an Academic All-American during his final two years of college. His love of sports and football was a catalyst for Chris becoming a sports agent (NFL Contract Advisor) and a certified sports agent by the State of Texas.

Chris earned his law degree from Baylor Law School. After law school, Chris had the privilege of serving as an assistant district attorney for Harris County, Williamson County, and Dallas County. From there, he transitioned into civil litigation and worked for one of the premier civil trial firms in Texas. Chris’ work as a prosecutor and civil litigator gave him a keen understanding of what it takes to be a successful trial lawyer.

WORK WITH AN ATTORNEY WHO CARES ABOUT YOUR CASE

For over twenty-five years, Chris has devoted his practice and career to helping people. He understands that when he is being called, the person on the other end is possibly going through the toughest battle of his or her life. That’s why he seeks to give them peace through his skill, experience, and aggressive representation. When clients work with Chris, they know they are in good hands.

Chris has a singular passion – fighting for the underdog. And, no case is too big for Chris. He has a vast amount of trial experience in high-stakes litigation – civil and criminal — in state and federal courts around the country.

After winning a recent $100 million jury trial against seemingly insurmountable odds, another highly experienced lawyer and Chris’ co-counsel said, “We don’t win the case without the passionate advocacy of Chris Lewis, and he delivered. He is better in front of a jury than any lawyer I’ve ever seen — the absolute best at arguing to a jury.”
