Get to Know Robert “Lane” Addison

Lane Addison is the kind of trial lawyer who brings equal parts skill, strategy, and heart to every case he handles. With nearly two decades of litigation experience, Lane has tried dozens of cases in both state and federal courts—earning a reputation for his meticulous preparation, persuasive advocacy, and steady presence under pressure. Over the years, he’s successfully represented hundreds of clients in complex civil and personal injury cases, always with one goal in mind: achieving the best possible outcome for those who trust him with their future.

A Dallas native and proud graduate of Highland Park High School, Lane grew up understanding the value of hard work, discipline, and integrity—qualities that still define his practice today. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, where he double-majored in Finance and International Business, played football for the Baylor Bears, and joined Phi Delta Theta fraternity. After Baylor, Lane attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal and participated in numerous mock trials and appellate arguments, sharpening the courtroom skills that have become his hallmark.

Clients appreciate Lane’s mix of professionalism and authenticity. He listens carefully, communicates clearly, and brings an unwavering attention to detail to every case he takes on. Whether he’s advocating in front of a jury or negotiating a settlement, Lane is known for building compelling narratives—because he believes that storytelling lies at the heart of effective trial work. As he likes to say, “Acting and storytelling translate to trial advocacy far better than an eidetic memory ever could.”

No matter how big or small the case, Lane approaches it with the same drive, diligence, and dedication. His deep experience, combined with his approachable personality, make him a trusted ally to clients and colleagues alike.

Outside the Office

When he’s not preparing for trial, Lane enjoys reading, woodworking, and golf. A lifelong student of history and cinema, he’s passionate about the art of storytelling—something that continues to influence his work in and out of the courtroom. Grounded, genuine, and deeply dedicated, Lane brings the same curiosity and craftsmanship to his life that he brings to every client he represents.
