At the DWI defense law firm of Crain Lewis, LLP, we can help you get an occupational license that allows you to drive for work and very specific family needs. A restricted license won't restore your total driving privileges, but it makes more sense than gambling with your future.

Occupational licenses

An occupational license may be issued to any person whose driver's license has been revoked for a DWI or other driving offense. There are certain conditions under which an occupational license will not be restored, including delinquent child support and specific medical conditions. For driving offenses, however, you may be authorized to drive a passenger vehicle for the specific purpose of your job, education, or necessary family responsibilities, including medical appointments.

At Crain Lewis, LLP, we handle everything

You don't necessarily need a lawyer to help you apply, but you should understand that the reinstatement process can be complicated and frustrating. To be successful, your attorney will need to understand the ins and outs of the county or district court in which your license was suspended. It is one important reason to hire an experienced lawyer after being charged with DWI. Our attorneys have experience in jurisdictions throughout Texas and have helped hundreds of people get a necessary portion of their driving privileges back.
